Description
Hi there,
(sorry for the temp email - thought the registration process would be really cumbersome, and it cumbersome email registration truly pisses me off :0 )
Was a great surprise to find Gummi - works great, even with my command line Texlive installation on Linux :)
I had but one problem - I have some quite large tex docs, and even though preview is limited for a single PDF page, each time I'd pres a key, the whole software would hog.
Therefore I made this simple patch:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/sdaaubckp/files/gummi/gummi_svn_2010Feb22_r303.diff/download
which simply adds another button, related to "Live Update", and if it is untoggled, there will be no preview update at each keystroke. Then, if you want preview, you simply toggle the button.
Hope this can get accepted, as it could help many people with complex Tex docs, and yet not so strong PCs :)
Cheers!
